10 days off
The end of a nice break. We flew to California and were able to see so many of our family and friends. We celebrated Dawn's mom's birthday, we got to see my mom and dad, saw cousins and auntys, and even met Tony at Wahoos. A great, but very busy trip to start the time off.
When we got back home, Dawn and I went and saw Underworld with the Moodys. They have been an important part of the soundtrack of my life for so many years. I was very happy to be able to see them again.
The rest of the week was spent at home, cleaning, doing yard work, and most importantly, not in front of a computer.
I don't take vacations often enough. There are even times when I max out on my time off accrual. I'm determined to change that behavior this year. This is the first time I've felt mentally relaxed in a long time.
